Greater Amadeus Bay

Location of Greater Amadeus Bay in northeastern Illuminatia

Points of interest: Brahms, Mussorgsky, Handel, Wolfgang Amadeus Bay

Greater Amadeus Bay refers to the extremity of the ocean basin that forms Wolfgang Amadeus Bay in northeast Illuminatia. The southeasterly outer reaches of Wolfgang Amadeus Bay open to a much larger area of water bounded to the north by the Classical Peninsula, to the south by Ludwig van Island, to the west by the Galant Peninsula, and to the east by the open waters of the Periterranean Sea.

Major shipping channels crossing Greater Amadeus Bay include those connecting Mozart via Wolfgang Amadeus Bay with the cities of Für Elise and Beethoven and points further south along Illuminatia's eastern coast via Ludwig van Channel, the northern extent of which opens to Greater Amadeus Bay.

The land adjacent Greater Amadeus Bay is relatively sparsely populated compared to that of its more-interior cousin, Wolfgang Amadeus Bay. The largest cities bordering Greater Amadeus Bay include Brahms and Mussorgsky.

Those population centers that do exist along the bay's shores were settled largely by descendants of the third multiversal duplication of the Lucidus III ship.
