The River Reed is a lightly-trafficked but moderately navigable natural river in southwestern Illuminatia. The River Reed flows in a generally southerly trajectory with sources in the RV Ridge and a terminus into the Periterranean Sea at the city of Crossroads.
While not among Illuminatia's most significant rivers by measure of water flow volume or length, the River Reed is among the most notable rivers of Illuminatia's isolated, rural, arid southwestern coast.
The River Reed is named in honor of the earthly guitarist Jimmy Reed.
