Illuminatian Earthly Humanism
Illuminatian Earthly Humanism is a moderately-popular and growing thought tradition characterized chiefly by a focus on Earthly wisdom, the ways it informs culture knowledge, and divining what humanity can be derived from that collective knowledge.
Illuminatian Earthly Humanists derive insight from philosophers throughout Earthly human history—from ancient times to postmodern times. The thought tradition's canon is limited to writings and discourses originating exclusively preceding the departure of the Lucidus mission. Necessarily, this means this thought tradition's catalogue of original knowledge originates entirely from Earthbound humanity. However Earthly Humanism does expend much of its collective effort producing contemporary interpretation and analysis of these Earthly schools of thought, producing a modern Illuminatian dialogue in matters of ethics, morality, and the greater good.
Followers will study texts, oratories, and other mediums from per-Lucidus Earth to derive a range of meaning that might reflect either the consensus of or the breadth of opinions of human society on Earth. Disciples of this thought tradition are made to understand that the range of human insight on various questions of the human condition might be quite expansive, and they are encouraged to adopt their own ethos within these broad strokes of Earthly wisdom.
Illuminatian Earthly Humanism is highly compatible with a wide range of the Illuminatian thought tradition sphere, as it does not claim any exclusivity on any absolute truths and also does not opine on the nature of The Anomaly or the multiverse. In fact, many people accept Illuminatian Earthly Humanism as complementary to several heavily-contrasting thought traditions that might otherwise be viewed as supporting contrary conclusions, such as Near-Infinite Multiversal Ideational Differentiationism and Multiversal Duplicativality.
The reliance on Earthly wisdom in a vacuum is somewhat unfashionable in Illuminatia, where it is easy for common cultural intelligence to be naturally critical of the follies and imprudence of Earthly humanity. Knowing this, it is understandable that Earthly Humanism holds a somewhat alternative position within the greater sphere of mainstream Illuminatian thought traditions. However, acceptance of Illuminatian Earthly Humanism is growing from its obscure days early in Illuminatian settlement-era history, when cultural fashion was intently focused on cultural knowledge from the Lucidus era in isolation from humanity's flawed Earthly roots.
Illuminatian Earthly Humanists are almost never absolutists and instead enjoy developing philosophies that are relativistic to cultural context, personal situation, and circumstance. This makes the thought tradition highly compatible with Path of Nonrighteousness, which also eschews absolutism. Academic approaches to Illuminatian Earthly Humanism frequently emphasize the disassembly of theses into hypotheses restricted to a specific cultural time and place and explaining or supporting those suppositions using a deep understanding of the cultural moment imagined.
