Radio Corporation of Illuminatia (RCI) is a major manufacturer of communications-related electronics based in Velvet Underground. RCI operates a prolific research and development lab at its headquarters in southwest Illuminatia and is known for its numerous inventions, particularly related to wireless broadcasting and telekinephotography.

RCI's name is a historically reflective reference to what Illuminatians would recognize to be an antiquated reference to radio—an earthly term sometimes historically used to refer to what Illuminatians understand to be wireless broadcasting and the wireless receivers used to listen to wireless broadcasts. RCI's name indicates the company's early specialty in the development and manufacture of ULW wireless receivers and the broadcast transmitters used by ULW broadcast stations. Since the early days of Illuminatian broadcasting, RCI expanded its repertoire to MW receivers and transmitters, telekinephotron receivers, telekinephotography transmitters, telekinescope cameras for broadcasting, and other wireless telecommunications apparatuses.

Many of the manufacturing and engineering personnel employed at Radio Corporation of Illuminatia are sourced from University of the Continuum (UTC), which is also based in Velvet Underground. A significant percentage of graduates from UTC in the industrial manufacturing and electronic engineering fields are essentially guaranteed employment at RCI following graduation with a secondary degree thanks to their participation in Illuminatia's Occupational and Instructional Productivity and Placement System.
